There’s just something about big families that I’ve always admired.

The noise, the personalities, the little hands everywhere, the laughter, the chaos, the love, all of it.

Children are such a blessing. They’re a whole lot of wor Feeling extra grateful to call this island home. 🤍

We truly have some of the most beautiful places to live, celebrate, and get married. Every venue feels so different, and that’s part of what makes Hawaiʻi Island so special.

Up on the mounta One of the greatest compliments I can receive as a photographer is being invited back, year after year, chapter after chapter. 🤍

I have clients I’ve had the honor of photographing through engagements, weddings, growing families, maternity, an With Jay + Makena’s anniversary coming up in October, I couldn’t help but look back on this day. 🤍

Still loving every single detail, everything was so perfectly thought out and beautifully executed by a vendor team they trusted to bring
This time last year, I put together my first-ever family mini session set. 🤎

It was a success, an absolute blast, and something I definitely thought I’d do again. But somewhere between juggling life, motherhood, and running a business, round Wedding tip: book the vendors you really want early.

The more you wait, the fewer options you may have, especially for your photographer, coordinator, venue, and other vendors who can only take one wedding per day.

Booking ahead gives you more choi I do things pretty unconventionally compared to what would probably be considered “good business.” 🙈

Everyone has their opinions on what works best. Niche down. Pick one thing. Focus on one type of client. And maybe that works perfectly If you would’ve told teenage me that one day I’d have my own wedding photography business, let alone travel for it and photograph weddings across four of the major Hawaiian Islands, I probably would’ve laughed.

This was never somet One of the reasons I look forward to the ending of every year is getting to see so many families in front of my camera again. 🥰

I’m so grateful for the families who return year after year and trust me to keep documenting each season, and just More days like Ha’o & Veronica’s, please. 🤍

The kind of wedding day that feels intentional, easy, full of love, and completely true to the two people at the center of it all.

As 2027 starts to fill in, I’ve been thinking a lo I don’t think most of my clients realize that when I’m with them during a session, I find myself feeling like I’m in that season of life with them.

I feel the excitement, the anticipation, the nerves, the joy and I try to remember Choosing your wedding photographer should be about so much more than just liking pretty photos.

Choose the person whose work feels like you. The one whose photos make you feel something. The one you trust to document the moments you know are coming If you’re down for a little hiking and adventure, the journey is always worth the destination at the end.

I think that’s true with life and with photos too. If you want the beautiful spots and the full experience, sometimes you have to b When you hire an experienced wedding photographer, you’re paying for so much more than someone showing up with a camera.

You’re paying for someone who knows how to read a room. Someone who knows when to step in and give direction, and wh Tiari & Kaden’s day was simple, intimate, and somehow that made it feel even more special.

I love weddings of every size because no two days are ever supposed to look the same. Some are big celebrations filled with hundreds of people, whi Take the family photos, even when your kids aren’t little anymore.

I think sometimes we associate family photos with the years when our children are babies, toddlers, or still small enough to hold. And then they grow up, schedules get busier,
