Frequently asked questions.

Do you require a deposit?

I require a non-refundable deposit to secure your date. The deposit will be credited to your total amount. The deposit will vary depending on if you are booking a session or wedding/event.

How long do your sessions run?

I want you to be comfortable with me & being in front of the camera but I don’t it to be a long and drawn out process. I’m able to get all the shots I need in about 45 minutes to 1 hour. I don’t usually exceed an hour, as more time than allotted will have added fees.

How will I recieve my photos?

All photos are digital and sent through a beautiful private online gallery. This gallery will be sent directly to the email you booked with when your photos are finished. Through this you can download your photos at the highest resolution, either to your phone, computer or both.

How do I select a location?

The choice of location is up to you. There is a travel fee calculated upon distance of travel if the location is outside of Hilo. I prefer my clients select the location they like most or have a connection to. I can however, give options/suggestions based on certain elements they are looking for but the final decision is up to them.

Do you give RAW files?

Unfortunately, I do not give/sell RAW files. It is considered “unfinished” and is not a true representation of my work. I trust that you are booking a session/your wedding with me because you love my style/editing.

Do you photoshop?

I will occasionally edit out distracting elements or people in the backgrounds. I can do light touchups for blemishes. But I do not photoshop to change the looks of any person. I do not do any heavy photoshop that would alter the look of a person/the image. I am all about keeping it natural & true.
