I’m Nevaeh, you’re hype girl/photographer. I first picked up a camera when I was 12 years old and in the most undramatic fashion, it has changed my life. I am blessed to be able to capture the beautiful of people in such a special place.

I used to HATE flash & now I’m in LOVE😍 When I thought of flash, I cringed. I thought of the cringe styles of flash photos that some uncle at the event used to take with his point and shoot camera.🫠 But I realized how important it is to be able to shoot in any lighting, especially at weddings/events that I had to stretch myself to learn and embrace something new. Crazy how sometimes our own thinking gets in the way of us learning and embracing new things that we end up loving once we give it a try. If you’re looking for a photographer, you NEED to know this!! 👇🏼 Choosing a photographer is so much more than looking at pricing. Most focus entirely on the price and forget about the other equally as important factors like style & approach. 👉🏼NOT ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE THE SAME!! 👈🏼 Ways photographers differ (outside of just pricing): 1. Editing style. You can’t expect every photographer to edit the same. Some stay true to color, some more vibrant, some warm/rustic, others may be more moody. Find the style you appeal the most to. You should NEVER ask a photographer to edit out of the style of their work. Like a particular editing style of a photographer, go to that photographer! 👍🏼 2. Approach. Some photographers LOVE the “picture perfect” & some clients love that too. They want your kids to be still, you to be positioned perfectly, etc. Nothing is wrong with that. Some photographers are more lifestyle, they want you to be candid, in the moment & find perfection in the imperfect. Personally for me, I am the chill & laid back photographer. I want everything to be centered around you. I want your kids to have fun, you to make memories and collect moments rather than photos. I love the imperfection because it’s real. Nothing about your photos should be fake or forced, let it all reflect in your images. Youll be so much more grateful for the candid moments of your kids playing/laughing over the perfectly positioned photos. Weddings are definitely an area I’ve never thought I would do, but here I am. It’s crazy how life works like that. The things you never would consider or even think you could do end up being such a big part of your life that you don’t know life without it. I’m honored to witness so many love stories and celebrate with so many couples. It’s a special thing that I never take lightly. When it came to my wedding, I was so intention because I knew the weight and importance of what I was stepping into. To share in these special and intimate moments with so many people is not something I take for granted. I’ve had an interest week to say the least🥹 What I thought was a huge blow to my business ended up teaching me so many valuable lessons that will help me take dreams further than before. I learned that followers don’t mean a thing! What matters the most is the genuine connections you make with people. It’s about building YOUR community. It’s about finding YOUR people. I’ve also learned that you have to be resilient and flexible. Don’t let anything stop you, it might change your plans a little but be flexible to adjust but don’t give up. Set new goals and don’t skip a beat. It’s been a crazy ride in this short week, but I’ve learned and I’ve grown. I’ll never regret an opportunity to learn and an opportunity to grow. 🤍

Hi guys! 🥹 PLEASE SHARE THIS POST! So, unfortunately my old account was hacked. Im not going to give up and keep trying to regain access and control, but until then, this will be the new photography account. It’s a major bummer that I lost access/control after so many years of trying to build a “platform” not only based on “followers” but also to showcase my work and the progression of my creativity over the years. I could sit here, and go on and on about how much I’ve “lost” but I refuse to give the enemy traction. I believe that the Lord would never take something away from me if there wasn’t something better around the corner. 🙌🏼 The Lord can take anything meant for evil and turn it positive. I don’t know what the “best” move will be for my business on the social media side of things, but I do know that nothing will stop me from pursuing my passion & building my business. I deserve to build the life I want to live and walk in the passion the Lord placed in my heart all those years ago. 🤍 I thank you all for you support over the years and for the continued support.
